the harlequin diaries

theharlequingame

This film chronicles The Harlequin Game summer adventures of eighty staff from Sainsbury’s marketing company i2C…

It follows their journey from across England’s Home Counties to central London - then to the European frontier, a fine old country house and to paths seldom trodden, onwards through idyllic countryside to the final resting place of Richard Plantagenet…

A race against each other and against the clock! An examination of who they think they are… and their many hidden talents.

Are you interested in a team building experience with a genuine difference? Actors, challenges, tests and trials await.

It is… most certainly - invigorating.

Moments when we lived... a little more

Work for me? This is what it feels like….

James Woodbridge, Actor, talks about The Harlequin Game ( www.theharlequingame.com )

 "I must admit I was nervous to start with as I was concerned about the closeness of the audience.

 "I had performed on stage but had never been involved in something so close and interactive where anything could happen.

 "From an actor’s perspective, improvisation and research was the key. If I didn’t know what I was talking about then I would never have been able to do it.

“I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would take part again in a heartbeat.”

A new dawn, a new day... a new life?

Moonlight now. The dawn still some time away. I dream the experiences of my life made real again by these words:

How clear, how lovely bright,
How beautiful to sight
Those beams of morning play;

How heaven laughs out with glee
Where, like a bird set free,
Up from the eastern sea
Soars the delightful day.

To-day I shall be strong,
No more shall yield to wrong,
Shall squander life no more;
Days lost, I know not how,
I shall retrieve them now;
Now I shall keep the vow
I never kept before.

Visit me now. Let us… meet.

Speak of me... one to another

Such a discussion… as the new week dawns Monday evening will set a new rumour running… the pictures and sounds that mark the harlequin’s time.

They tell of adventure and surely that promise of the extraordinary shall  pass from one to another?

We shall see…

Here, then, shall follow proof of the promise in evening time - at nine o'clock tomorrow. And then?

We SHALL see…
